May, 2011

I took this photo several years ago in Valley Forge National Park in Pennsylvania.
I lived nearby and walked this path often.  This scene so exemplifies springtime for me.  Greens that vibrate with vitality, blossoms dripping with fragrance, new beginnings that herald the passion and fruits of summer.  All this is reflected in the waters that feed and nurture growth.

Despite the beckoning of warm days ahead, Spring can quickly retreat into blustery cold winds and squalls.  It is actually an exciting dance between winter and summer, a metaphor that encourages us, little by little, to sprout anew from the dormant seeds of winter and bud into the newest version of who we are.

It is time, everyone, to step out, to shed the leftover vestiges of seasons past and bear fruit that is richer and juicier and tastier than ever before.  It won’t be easy.  There are storms and droughts and pestilence in the seasons ahead.  And we must shine even in the uncertainty that lies before us.  The secret is in the stepping stones we lay, the bridge we build between our winter selves and our summer selves.  The power within the seed finds its unique and full expression through its interaction with the world.  Yet that interaction will not be honest and true without an inner voice to guide it.

So we must find and lay stepping stones to bridge summer and winter, body and soul, outer and inner worlds.   It is not at all complicated.  It is the simple lessons of springtime that can show us the way:

  • Bury your nose in the lilac bushes. Let your senses transport you.
  • Rejoice in the new life that abounds. Express your gratitude.
  • Breathe in. Watch it flow.
  • Feel the joy. Recall, actually feel, a moment when you were loved.

NEWS:
The Healing Circle has been meeting for several months now.  And I have enjoyed being a witness to the growth and empowerment of all those who have participated. Learning to live with more freedom and inner awareness in the face of life’s demands and expectations takes courage and persistence.  The reward, however, is hard to beat…a journey toward awakened possibilities and a deeper sense of personal empowerment.  I hope to offer this Circle again in the fall.

I would like to begin offering a new twist on an old service, the Empowerment Journey.  Individuals can commit to three sessions during which you will explore your inner world, learning tools that will help you to clear energy that blocks your path and to realign with your purpose here on this planet.  For more information please contact me.

The other services that I offer, Soul Recovery, Loving Kindness Attunement and Shamanic Clearing are all practiced now with the option for you to more consciously participate in the exploration and healing process as it unfolds throughout the length of the session.  During the session I ask you to make observations within your own body and to direct the healing as we all work together.

Financial Assistance, as always, is available upon request.
Please keep in touch.  I wish you all peace and happiness.
Susan
