For me as a child Springtime brought expeditions into the woods behind my house, to search for all manner of plants and insects. The screen door would squeak and then slam as I ran out in search of adventure and returned with many little treasures. For my mother there was Spring cleaning, floor to ceiling. The hardwood floors got waxed and polished and the curtains washed and ironed. And she would shine the windows until we could not see the glass.
Needless to say, Spring cleaning is not a high priority for many of us now. Even with the best of intentions we are so busy we tend to let housework slide. Not only do we neglect some of those big jobs at home but many of us neglect, too, the need to bring a sparkle to our inner home, our spirit. After a long winter we can be a bit dusty and our dirty windows can certainly cloud our view of the world.
This year Spring comes early with exceptional warmth and greenery, inviting us to renew ourselves, to head out into the world and let the door slam behind us. So let’s get the cleaning done. I recommend starting with the chakras, the moderating spheres of energy that run along the spine from our inner floor to ceiling. By clearing out the energetic debris that has collected there and recharging the chakras’ energy, you will feel great, renewed and refreshed. Here is one suggestion for getting started…
I am making a special offer, now through May 7, a 50 minute SPRING CHAKRA CLEANING for just $50 that will release energy, restore balance and revitalize you! This can be done in-person or long distance. Please contact me if you interested.
