Why Does the Soul Need Medicine?

Each of us is a complex vibrating field of energy. When this fluid system is in balance and free of restrictions, we know the wisdom of our soul, we thrive in our relationships with others and we are aligned with our highest purpose. But, in reality, we all experience physical, emotional and spiritual traumas throughout our lives. And when we do, our energy system becomes damaged and fragmented: we lose vitality, inner well-being and, at the deepest level, access to the wisdom of our soul.

Our human response to the vulnerability this creates is to construct elaborate patterns to protect and defend the wounded parts of our selves. These patterns become our stories and manifest in unfulfilling relationships, the need for control, diseases and more. Our fears, anger and sorrow weave through the stories of our lives and hold them in place, making it hard for us to find our way.
